A Psalm on the Sabbath.

The Encouraging word of the Lord.

By Pastor Don’t Roy Hemingway.

1 Peter 121st Century King James Version (KJ21)

21 By Him ye believe in God, who raised Him up from the dead and gave Him glory, that your faith and hope might be in God.

22 Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently,

23 being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the Word of God which liveth and abideth for ever;

24 for “all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away;

25 but the Word of the Lord endureth for ever.” And this is the Word which by the Gospel is preached unto you.

Psalm 64. 21st Century King James Version (KJ21)

1 Hear my voice, O God, in my prayer; preserve my life from fear of the enemy.2 Hide me from the secret counsel of the wicked, from the insurrection of the workers of iniquity,3 who whet their tongue like a sword and bend their bows to shoot their arrows, even bitter words,4 that they may shoot in secret at the perfect; suddenly do they shoot at him and fear not.

5They encourage each other in an evil purpose; they commune in laying snares privily; they say, “Who shall see them?”6 They search out iniquities, they conduct a diligent search; both the inward thought of every one of them, and the heart, is deep.7 But God shall shoot at them with an arrow; suddenly shall they be wounded.8 So shall they make their own tongue to fall upon themselves; all that see them shall flee away.9 And all men shall fear and shall declare the work of God, for they shall wisely consider His doing.10 The righteous shall be glad in the Lordand shall trust in Him, and all the upright in heart shall glory.

Blessing.

The Lord bless you and keep you;
The Lord make His face shine upon you,
And be gracious unto you;
The Lord lift up His countenance upon you,
And give you peace. Amen.
