Evensong, Verse, Prayer and Psalm.

By Senior Pastor Don Roy Hemingway.

2 Kings 17:38-39.

38 Do not forget the covenant I have made with you, and do not worship other gods. 39 Rather, worship the LORD your God; it is he who will deliver you from the hand of all your enemies.”

Evening Prayer.

Almighty God, you have given us a land where we are free to read and hear your Word,
confess your name and work together for the extension of your kingdom.
May the liberty given us be continued to our children and our children’s children,
that the power of the gospel may here increase to the blessing of all the nations of the earth and to your eternal glory; through your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

The Evening Psalm.

Psalm 118. 21st Century King James Version (KJ21)

O give thanks unto the Lord, for He is good, for His mercy endureth for ever!

Let Israel now say that His mercy endureth for ever.

Let the house of Aaron now say that His mercy endureth for ever.

Let them that fear the Lord now say that His mercy endureth for ever.

I called upon the Lord in distress; the Lord answered me, and set me in an ample place.

The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do unto me?

The Lord taketh my part among them that help me; therefore shall I see what I desire upon them that hate me.

It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man.

It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in princes.

10 All the nations compassed me about, but in the name of the Lord will I destroy them.

11 They compassed me about, yea, they compassed me about; but in the name of the Lord I will destroy them.

12 They compassed me about like bees, they are quenched as the fire of thorns; for in the name of the Lord I will destroy them.

13 Thou hast thrust sorely at me that I might fall, but the Lord helped me.

14 The Lord is my strength and song, and has become my salvation.

15 The voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tabernacles of the righteous; the right hand of the Lord doeth valiantly.

16 The right hand of the Lord is exalted; the right hand of the Lorddoeth valiantly.

17 I shall not die, but live and declare the works of the Lord.

18 The Lord hath chastened me sorely, but He hath not given me over unto death.

19 Open to me the gates of righteousness; I will go into them, and I will praise the Lord

20 this gate of the Lord, into which the righteous shall enter.

21 I will praise Thee, for Thou hast heard me and art become my salvation.

22 The stone which the builders refused has become the head stone of the corner.

23 This is the Lord’S doing; it is marvelous in our eyes.

24 This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

25 Save now, I beseech Thee, O Lord; O Lord, I beseech Thee, send now prosperity.

26 Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the Lord! We have blessed you from the house of the Lord.

27 God is the Lord, who hath shown us light; bind the sacrifice with cords, even unto the horns of the altar.

28 Thou art my God, and I will praise Thee; Thou art my God, I will exalt Thee.

29 O give thanks unto the Lord, for He is good; for His mercy endureth for ever!

Have a great day Brothers and Sisters of the CJCN, The Lord bless you and keep you;

2 Corinthians 9:6-7English Standard Version (ESV)

The Cheerful Giver.

The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

May God bless you all and ‘The Church of Jerusalem and the Christian Nation’, Amen.

Please look at the DONATIONS page if it be on your heart to make a donation to the lords work in this place. Thank you.
