Evensong, Prayer and Psalm

By Senior Pastor Don Roy Hemingway.
Gooooooooooooooooooooood Evening brethren, peace unto you and the grace of our lord Jesus be with you. May the Almighty God of hosts stay ever with you this evening and thank you, for joining us here at ‘The Church of Jerusalem and the Christian Nation’ for worship and praise. Let us begin as is our tradition every day here at the Nation, by reading from the word of God. Amen………

Evening Psalm.

Psalm 15. 21st Century King James Version (KJ21)

Lord, who shall abide in Thy tabernacle? Who shall dwell in Thy holy hill?

He that walketh uprightly and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart;

he that backbiteth not with his tongue, nor doeth evil to his neighbor, nor spreadeth a reproach against his neighbor;

in whose eyes a vile person is contemned, but he honoreth them that fear the Lord; he that taketh an oath to his own hurt, and changeth not;

he that putteth not out his money to usury, nor taketh a bribe against the innocent. He that doeth these things shall never be moved.

Evening Prayer.

wise-mens-gifts

Lord God, you are the light of all the Gentiles, and on this day you revealed your only Son
to the Gentiles by the leading of a star. Grant that your people may rejoice in your unending peace and shine your bright light into our hearts, just as you blessed the Wise Men and their children; through your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.

Blessing.

Have a great day Brothers and Sisters of the CJCN, The Lord bless you and keep you;

The Lord make His face shine upon you and be gracious unto you;
The Lord lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace. Amen.
