Gooooooooooooooooooooood Evening brethren, peace unto you and the grace of our lord Jesus be with you. May the Almighty God of hosts stay ever with you this evening and thank you, for joining us here at ‘The Church of Jerusalem and the Christian Nation’ for worship and praise. Let us begin as is our tradition every day here at the Nation, by reading from the word of God. Amen………

Evening Psalm.

Psalm 11 New International Version (NIV)

Psalm 11

For the director of music. Of David.

In the Lord I take refuge.
    How then can you say to me:
    “Flee like a bird to your mountain.
For look, the wicked bend their bows;
    they set their arrows against the strings
to shoot from the shadows
    at the upright in heart.
When the foundations are being destroyed,
    what can the righteous do?”

The Lord is in his holy temple;
    the Lord is on his heavenly throne.
He observes everyone on earth;
    his eyes examine them.
The Lord examines the righteous,
    but the wicked, those who love violence,
    he hates with a passion.
On the wicked he will rain
    fiery coals and burning sulfur;
    a scorching wind will be their lot.

For the Lord is righteous,
    he loves justice;
    the upright will see his face.

Evening Prayer.

wise-mens-giftsLord God, you are the light of all the Gentiles, and on this day you revealed your only Son to the Gentiles by the leading of a star. Grant that your people
may rejoice in your unending peace
and shine your bright light into our hearts, just as you blessed the Wise Men
and their children; through your Son,
Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.

Blessing.

Have a great day Brothers and Sisters of the CJCN, The Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make His face shine upon you and be gracious unto you; The Lord lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace, now and evermore, Amen.
