Evensong, Prayer and Psalm.
By Senior Pastor Don Roy Hemingway. Th.D.
Goooooooooooooooood evening brethren, peace be unto you and the grace of our lord Jesus be with you. May the Almighty God of Hosts be with you this day and always and thank you for being here with us at The Church of Jerusalem and the Christian Nation, for worship and Praise. Let us begin our service this evening, as we always do here at ‘The Nation’, by reading from the word of God…….. Amen.
(A Hymn, A Prayer and a Psalm to close the Day.)
O Lord, give your blessing to our daily work, that we may do it in faith, with all our hearts, as working for the Lord and not for human masters.
All our powers of body and mind are yours, and we devote them to your service.
Sanctify us and the work in which we are engaged; let us not be lazy, but diligent in spirit. O Lord, bless our efforts that they may bring forth in us the fruits of true wisdom.
Teach us to seek truth and lead us to find it, but grant that we may always speak the truth in love, that while we know earthly things, we may know you, and be known by you, through and in your Son Jesus Christ. Give us this day your Holy Spirit,
that we may be yours in body and spirit in all our work and all our refreshments;
through Jesus Christ your only Son, our Lord and Saviour. Amen.
CJCN Evening Psalm.
Psalm 52 King James Version (KJV)
1 Why boastest thou thyself in mischief, O mighty man? the goodness of God endureth continually.
2 The tongue deviseth mischiefs; like a sharp razor, working deceitfully.
3 Thou lovest evil more than good; and lying rather than to speak righteousness. Selah.
4 Thou lovest all devouring words, O thou deceitful tongue.
5 God shall likewise destroy thee for ever, he shall take thee away, and pluck thee out of thy dwelling place, and root thee out of the land of the living. Selah.
6 The righteous also shall see, and fear, and shall laugh at him:
7 Lo, this is the man that made not God his strength; but trusted in the abundance of his riches, and strengthened himself in his wickedness.
8 But I am like a green olive tree in the house of God: I trust in the mercy of God for ever and ever.
9 I will praise thee for ever, because thou hast done it: and I will wait on thy name; for it is good before thy saints.

Numbers 6:24-26 King James Version (KJV)
The Lord bless you, and keep thee: The Lord make his face shine upon you, and be gracious unto you: The Lord lift up his countenance upon you, and give you peace.
Have a wonderful Sabbath Day my beloved brethren, Shabbat Shalom.
